In the German city of Dortmund, unknown people inscribed with racist slogans on the sign at the entrance to the building of the Eving Selimiye SPOR amateur sports club, founded by members of the Turkish community.
It is reported that the attackers defeated the sign, and on its reverse side they left racist inscriptions made by red paint imitating the color of the blood.
Member of the municipal council of Dortmund Emre Gulech condemned the attack.
According to him, the use of not only the word ‘türke’ (Turks), but also the “1488” code, widely used in neo -Nazi circles as a symbol of racist ideology.
is especially alarming.
Gulech noted that the sports club unites many migrants, so this act is an attempt to intimidate all immigrant families living in Dortmund.
He also called on the authorities to investigate the incident and take decisive measures against ultra -right groups.
According to GULECH, in Dortmund there should not be a place for racism, hatred and ultra -right ideologies, and local residents should withstand any manifestations of discrimination.
“I urge all citizens to maintain vigilance and confront any manifestations of racism and inciting hatred. Today, it is more important than ever to show solidarity with ‘Eving Selimiye SPOR’ and everyone who affected this incident. Football, like any other sport, should not disconnect, but unite people, ”said Gulech.
