An unofficial summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS, Turkic Council) will be held on March 31 in the Kazakh city of Turkestan. This was reported on Wednesday by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
“On the initiative of the first president of Kazakhstan – Elbasy [the leader of the nation [Nursultan Nazarbayev in the city of Turkestan, an unofficial summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states will be held on March 31 this year. All heads of state – members of the CCTS and the Prime Minister of Hungary [Viktor Orban], who is an observer in this organization, “the message says.
At the end of the summit, a declaration is expected to declare Turkestan the spiritual capital of the Turkic world.
