The results obtained by Anadolu (AA) on the basis of data collected at polling stations through 2500 employees almost completely coincided with the final results of the presidential election on May 14, declared by the Higher Electoral Commission (CEC) of Turkey.

, as part of the preparatory process in the main office of AA, the election tracking center was formed.
In addition, a mobile application was launched, through which the agency’s employees were able to send photographs of approved protocols from polling stations.
On the day of elections, 2500 AA employees, including permanent and freelance correspondents, collected the results of voting at polling stations assigned to them and, through a mobile application, were sent to the election center. The approved protocols from all over Turkey were then digitized through the system of optical symbol recognition (OCR).
Monitoring of the loaded data was carried out by 300 employees of the AA election center.
During the promulgation of the results, it became obvious that the data on the presidential elections that AA sent to its subscribers and the final results of the CEC published the day before in the official messenger of the government – Resmi Gazete are almost completely coincided.
So, after processing 99.87 percent of the AA bulletins, subscribers informed that the presidential candidate, the current president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan gained 49.50 percent of the vote, Kemal Klychdaroglu – 44.89 percent, Sinan Ogan – 5.17 percent, and withdrawing his candidacy with the elections by Muharrem Indgea – 0.44 percent of the vote.
According to the final results of the CEC published in the Bulletin of the Cabinet of Ministers, Erdogan scored 49.52 percent of the vote, Kylychdaroglu – 44.88 percent, Sinan Ogan – 5.17 percent, and Muharrem Indgea – 0.43 percent.
Discrepancy of AA data with the results of the CEC according to Erdogan’s indicators amounted to 0.02 percent, Kylychdaroglu and Indgea – 0.01 percent.
At the same time, the results of the votes of AA on Ogani completely coincided with the official results of the CEC.
