Greece announced 12 employees of the diplomatic and consular offices of the Russian Federation accredited in this country, people of non-Grata, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece reported on Wednesday, writes RIA Novosti.
“They were announced by undesirable persons in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Development of 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963,” the report says.
On this decision, the Acting Secretary-General informed the Ambassador of Russia today.
At the same time, Moscow stated that they would take response to this decision of Greece. According to TASS official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharov, “Russia will give the appropriate answer.”
