The Foreign Minister of the UK and the candidate for the post of Prime Minister Liz Tracers promised to consider the issue of transferring the British Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, in case of their election to the post of head of government. This is stated in her letter addressed to members of the organization “Friends of Israel”.
The tracks also took part in the organization’s event on Monday evening, during which she turned to voters and answered questions about the relationship between Israel and Great Britain.
“I understand the importance and delicacy of the location of the British Embassy in Israel,” wrote tracks in her letter, adding that she had “a lot of conversations on this subject with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
Previously, in her letter, the tracks said that she plans to confirm her commitment to the British Jews and promised to continue to remain “a persistent defender of Israel.
“I will make sure that we fulfill the bill we proposed to put an end to the local tips pursuing the policy of the boycott, alienation and sanctions directed against Israel,” she added.
