US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken held telephone talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, assuring him of “support for democratic processes in Armenia.” This was reported on the website of the US Department of State.
“The Secretary stressed the importance of respect for the rule of law and democratic institutions and expressed our continued support for the development of democratic processes and institutions in Armenia,” the message says.
In addition, Blinken “welcomed efforts to achieve a lasting settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”
