The White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki expressed the appreciation of Turkey for the fact that it allowed the exchange of prisoners between Russia and the USA on its territory.
Psaki at her daily press conference shared the details of the process of liberation of Reed. Having stated that they have long been negotiating with Russia on the release of the detained citizen of the United States, Trekor Reed, Psaki said that over the past 24 hours, detained both in the USA and in Russia were delivered to Turkey.
“We are very grateful to Turkey for the fact that it allowed the exchange in its country,” the words of the Psaki reports Anadol.
She added that the exchange was made in the early morning in American time.
