Ankara and Baku discussed state and prospects of cooperation

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accepted the vice president of Turkey Jewdates Yilmaz.

The meeting was held at the Presidential Palace of Zagulb – the official suburban residence of the President of Azerbaijan in Baku.

The current state and prospects for cooperation between the two countries were discussed. An exchange of views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda took place.

The cooperation of Turkey and Azerbaijan, which is the driving force of the Turkic world, will be carried out on the basis of a comprehensive strategy based on the common interests of the two countries, Yylmaz wrote on a social network following a meeting with the head of the Azerbaijani state.

The Vice President of Turkey expressed the conviction that the relations of the two countries developing under the slogan “One Nation, two states” will continue to strengthen. Jewdad Yilmaz also thanked Ilham Aliyev for warm and sincere hospitality.
