Ankara And Brussels Discussed Energy Cooperation

The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Alparslan Bayractar and the Commissar of the European Union (EU) on energy and housing construction, Dan Jorgensen, agreed on a comprehensive assessment of energy cooperation between Turkey and the EU.

Bayractar on the social network X said that the parties discussed the general energy agenda, in particular the safety of energy supply to Europe, the goals of green transformation and investment in renewable energy sources.

“We agreed that the technical committees should regularly work to deepen energy cooperation between Turkey and the EU and that these studies should be comprehensively evaluated at the level of ministers once a year,” the minister wrote.
