The third round of negotiations was held by agreement on free trade (SST) between Turkey and the Cooperation Cooperation Cooperation Cooperation (SSAGPZ).

According to the written application of the Ministry of Trade of Turkey, the third round of negotiations was held in Ankara by agreement on free trade between Turkey and SSAGPZ.

Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzju and the chief negotiator from the SSAGPZ Raja Al Marzuki discussed the achieved successes in the negotiation process and the upcoming stages.

As a result of negotiations that will continue in the areas of trade, the rules of origin, investment, digital trade and services, it is planned to reach a balanced agreement between the parties and significantly reduce barriers in trade.

As of last year, the volume of trade between Turkey and the member countries of the SSAGPZ (Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman) amounted to $ 27.7 billion.

Given that the total trade of Turkey and the member countries of the SSAGPZ with the world is about $ 2.4 trillion, it is predicted that with the entry into force of the S-SST, one of the largest free trade zones on a global scale will be realized.

The agreement will create the basis for further deepening mutual investments in the field of services in the sectors of tourism, healthcare, education, logistics and computer science, as well as cooperation in the field of contracts.
