In the capital of Turkey, Ankara, on Wednesday, the final of the World Cup 2023 began on modern pentathlon.
Türkiye first adopted the tournament in 2022.
According to the results of the competition, 72 athletes will receive the right to participate in the Olympic Games- 2024 in Paris: 36 men and 36 women.
Participants compete in five disciplines: competition, fencing, shooting, running, swimming.
Turkey in the female category is represented by Ilka Ozuksel and Ipek Akshin, in competitions among men – Buger Unal and Dora Nusretoglu.
The World Cup will end on June 4 mixed relay.
