Ankara Priority In Syria Is Liquidation Of Red Army Terrorist Organization/YPG

Turkish priority in Syria is the elimination of the Red Army Terrorist Organization/YPG. This was stated by the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Yashar Guler.

According to him, Ankara brought this to the attention of the United States and expects a revision of their position regarding the activities of this group in Syria.

“In the new period, the terrorist organization of the RSC/YPG in Syria will be liquidated sooner or later. The new authorities of Syria and Turkey are striving for this,” the head of the department emphasized.

The minister emphasized that Turkey has no problems with “Kurdish brothers living in Iraq and Syria.” “Our problem is only with terrorists,” he said.

Guleler indicated that the main goal of Turkey is to protect the territorial integrity of Syria, the peaceful completion of the political process in this country and the purification of the Turkish border from terrorist elements

He also noted that Ankara is ready to provide support to the new authorities of Syria in the issue of military training and cooperation, if such a request comes from them.

The head of the department said that the Armed Forces of Turkey from the beginning of this year neutralized 2,939 terrorists, including in the north of Iraq and Syria.
