The Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked Azerbaijan for supporting efforts to extinguish forest fires in Turkey.
“We would like to thank Azerbaijan for the valuable support of efforts to extinguish forest fires throughout our country,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the social network x.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During a telephone conversation, Aliyev said that he instructed to prepare a fire aircraft to participate in extinguishing fires in Turkey.
