Ankara will condole due to death of people in forest fires in Kazakhstan

Foreign Ministry of Turkey expressed condolences in connection with the death of people as a result of forest fires in the Abay region of Kazakhstan.

“with deep sadness, we took the news of the death of 14 foresters as a result of fires in the Abay region. We express our condolences to the friendly and fraternal people and the government of Kazakhstan,” the department said on Twitter.

Kazakhstan President Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev announced on June 12 in the afternoon of national mourning for those who died in a forest fire in the Abay region.

In the territory of the Batpaevsky forestry, there was a fire of trees on a preliminary area of ​​0.3 hectares. All 14 foresters died in a fire in the Abay region. 316 people were evacuated due to fire in the region.
