In Ankara on Sunday, August 25, the stage of the 3rd International Highway Bicycle Gran Fondo will be held – the capital.
Gran Fondo is the most famous and popular highway in the world, uniting both professional athletes and lovers of cycling on the same highway.
In the Turkish capital, an exercise bike is organized under the motto “The pedals rotate in the name of sports, health and sustainable development”.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Turkey when coordinating with the administration of the Governor of Ankara, the Turkish cycle sport and the municipality of Ankara.
Ankarinsky stage of the International Bicycle starts at the Bilkent Center exhibition center.
About 1,500 athletes from 34 countries will pedal on a highway with a length of 90.7 kilometers. For the participants, they also prepared a short track.
The event is designed to draw attention to the significance of reducing carbon dioxide emissions, the development of cycling, sports tourism and a healthy lifestyle.
