annual inflation in Russia in December 2024 increased to 9.52%. This is evidenced by the data of the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia (Rosstat).
According to Rosstat, food products in December rise in price by 2.6% compared to the previous month, and in annual terms – by 11.05%.
At the same time, prices for non -food goods in the reporting period rose by 6.12%, and for services – by 11.52%.
Inflation in Russia in December 2024 increased to 9.52 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Whereas the inflation rate in November 2024 amounted to 8.88 percent.
amid the growth in inflation, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia on October 25, 2024 decided to increase the key rate by 200 B.P., to 21.00% per annum.
