Annual inflation in United States reached a maximum since 1982

Consumer prices in the United States in annual expression at the end of November accelerated growth to 6.8% from 6.2% months earlier, and in the monthly – jumped by 0.8%, reported in a press release of the Ministry of Labor.

Thus, annual inflation in the United States reached the maximum value for almost 40 years. At the end of June 1982, it was 7.2%.

The annual indicator coincided with the forecast of analysts surveyed by the Daily FX portal, and in a monthly expression, inflation was expected at the level of 0.7%.
