Another 18 families of forced immigrants returned to Lachinsky district of Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, the process of returning forced immigrants to the original lands in the regions of the republic, which was liberated from the Armenian occupation, continues.

in the framework of the program “Great Return”, initiated by the President of the country Ilham Aliyev, another 18 families consisting of 65 people were sent to the city of Lachin.

Citizens were held from the Garadag district Baku with a ceremony with the participation of officials of Azerbaijan.

Lachin residents will be settled in their native houses, where they once lived before the occupation. All houses were restored or repaired as part of the restoration work carried out in the region.

Thus, in the city of Lachin, permanent accommodation of 221 SEMB (858 people) is ensured.
