In Murom of the Vladimir region, Colonel Denis Kozlov, who commanded the 12th separate guards engineering Koenigsberg-city red-digit brigade, was buried on Tuesday.
According to the publication “Murom24”, the colonel died on May 11 with a pontoon crossing for further advancement of troops. Just at that time, the Russian army suffered large losses, trying to establish a pontoon crossing across the Seversky Donets River near the village of Belogorovka in the Lugansk region.
Two days before his death, Colonel Kozlov participated in the festive rally on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the village of Chishma in Bashkiria, where the 12th brigade is deployed.
This brigade has already lost the second commander from the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine: on March 14, Colonel Sergei Porokhnya was killed on the territory of Ukraine.
