The third of the “Big Four” of oil-breeding companies – Baker Hughes – Stops investment in Russia.
TASS with reference to the application of the company writes that the international oilfield service company Baker Hughes temporarily stopped activities in Russia.
Baker Hughes stated that the company will continue to comply with existing international laws and sanctions, as well as “current contractual obligations”. Representatives of the organization stressed what decision “followed the internal decision adopted by the Board of Directors of the Company.”
On the eve of the same measures taken two other oil-breeding companies – Halliburton and Schlumberger. Halliburton explained its solution to sanctions that prohibit “transactions and work, including for some state Russian customers.”
The “Big Four” includes Baker Hughes (BHI), Halliburton (HAL), Schlumberger (SLB) and Weatherford International (WFT).
