Another Turkish bank began to accept Russian Mir cards

In Turkey, the fourth large bank has connected to the reception of the cards of the Russian payment system, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the ator.

At the end of May, to the credit organizations of Ziraat Bankası, Vakıfbank and Iş Bankası, already receiving the Mir cards, Denizbank was added, one of the top managers of Aishenur Hikerkyran said. “Thanks to this integration, our partners – trade and service enterprises – will be able to easily receive payment from Russian tourists,” he explained, noting that this supports the country’s economy.

According to data, now Denizbank has connected almost all of its ATMs to the reception of Mira, but the terminals are partially, so somewhere Russian cards may not accept. The software of each device is also being updated. At the same time, a number of banks that accept Mir in Turkey are forced to comply with sanctions restrictions on individual credit organizations from Russia.
