As reported in the Turkish Federation of Taekwondo, in an event that will last in the city sports complex until February 14, about 1900 athletes from almost 60 countries will take part.
In addition to competitions in the categories of stars, youth and adults, PHUMSE competitions are planned.
Competitions in the categories of stars and juniors will bring international points to athletes. And the success in competitions in the category “adults” will mean Olympic glasses.
Tomorrow will be held in PHUMSE, February 9-10, among stars, February 11-12, among juniors and February 13-14- among adults.
“The beginning of February is now associated with the week of the open tournament in Turkey. We will again organize an important event in our country. By preparing our stars and young athletes for the future, we lay the way to the athletes of the older age category to bring us Olympic victory, ”said Metin Shakhin, president of the Taekwondo Federation of Turkey, wishing success to athletes.
