Antalya Captured Underwater Biodiversity Of “Three Islands”

Antalya captured underwater beauties and biodiversity in the area of the Islands üçadalar (“Uch Adalar” or “Three Islands”), which are a favorite among diving lovers thanks to their bright dark blue waters.

The Diving Place “Three Islands” is located near the village of Tekirov near the Kemer region. A group of islands, entitled “Three Islands”, actually consists of four islands of Martha, Magar, Picnic and Kushukada. In the summer months, excursion boats constantly run to the “three islands”.

Producer of underwater documentary films and operator Tahsin Jaylan, with the support of the North Star diving center, immersed in the Three Islands, together with the instructors Ozzhan Meydan, Suat Karaman and assistant to the Sadi Buluta project.

The team ducked into the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and photographed underwater biological and environmental diversity in the “Three Islands” area, where archaeological artifacts are also located.

Immersion allowed a close -up to shoot such sea inhabitants as octopus, bream, stone perch, golden spar, mixed sigan, eel and slope, as well as crab and polyscity worms.

Jailan said “Anadol” that the “Three Islands” area is important for diving development.

The concentration of nutrients created by currents enriched the variety of underwater species, he said.

Although the Antalya is far from the boat, the tours from the coast of Kemer are very popular, Jaylan explained. “During the immersion, good shots of the elements of flora and fauna were made. Archaeological artifacts are also among the important cultural values of the region. Given the ecology, the assignment of the status of the national park is extremely important for its protection,” he added.
