Anti -drug raids in Turkey: a blow to PKK is struck

According to the report, during the operation on Tuesday, dozens of suspects in drug trafficking were detained. The detentions took place in the province of Diyarbakyr and other areas.

As the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs stated, both operations are aimed at blocking the financial resources of the Kurdistan terrorist working party (PKK), which benefits from smuggling drugs and trade in the country.

According to the official statement of the Diyarbakyr police, several drug lords were arrested, during searches of the Iznyat, narcotic substances and raw materials for their production. Funds for the production of explosives were also discovered.
