According to local media, in the Dzhambel-Bahr area near the presidential palace there was a shootout between the presidential guard and the armed group that attacked the palace. During clashes lasting about an hour and ended by 21:30 local time, the attackers suffered significant losses. The death of one representative of the government is also reported.
The Chada government said that the situation is completely under control and there is no serious threat. However, official information about the personality of the attackers has not yet been submitted.
