Armen Grigoryan about a peaceful agenda and a meeting with Hikmet Gadzhiev

Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan, in an interview with the Voice of America radio station, spoke about a meeting with Azerbaijani President Hikmet Hajiyev in Washington, calling it “effective.”

“We discussed the agenda of the settlement of the conflict between the two countries, as well as the topics of establishing peace in the region. They are related to unlocking, division, border safety, as well as other issues that will bring stability and peace to the region,” he said.

Grigoryan in his interview also noted that Armenia and Azerbaijan are discussing four interconnected summons today – humanitarian, unlocking, delimitation and demarcation.

“We tried to make clarifications in these areas how we will move forward, and with all this there is also a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia emphasized.

According to him, in addition to the format of their meetings, Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations are also held in other formats-at the level of the heads of the Foreign Ministry, Deputy Prime Ministers and heads of national security services. Meetings of the leaders of the countries are also held.
