Armenia And Finland Discussed Peace Process In South Caucasus

In Helsinki, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and Finland President Alexander Stubb discussed the peace process in the South Caucasus.

According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the minister noted the importance of “achieving a sustainable world in the South Caucasus and called the priority of his country to ensure the security of his citizens.”

Mirzoyan said that the Armenian government “has a firm political will to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.”

The interlocutors also discussed the directions of deepening cooperation between Armenia and Finland, noting the “key role of mutual respect for democratic values ​​and the expanding connections of Armenia and the European Union.”

In particular, the main aspects of the “ambitious agenda of the partnership of Armenia-Es, as well as the possibilities for activating cooperation in areas with high development potential” were considered.
