Armenia and the United States on Monday, July 15, began joint military exercises Eagle Partner 2024.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, joint exercises with the US military of the US Authority in Europe and Africa and the Kansas National Guard will last in Armenia until July 24.
It is noted that the exercises will be focused on solving problems of stabilizing relations between conflicting parties when performing peacekeeping problems.
The purpose of the exercises is to increase the level of coordination of units participating in international peacekeeping missions in the framework of peacekeeping operations, the exchange of advanced experience in the field of management and tactical communication, as well as an increase in the combat readiness of the Armenian unit, the department said.
“, in preparation for the peacekeeping missions of the units preparing for international peacekeeping operations, regularly participate in similar joint military exercises and training in partner countries,” the Ministry of Defense of Armenia noted.
