Armenia Is Considered Possible To Sign Peace Agreement With Azerbaijan In 2025

Armenian authorities consider it possible to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan in 2025.

“Our approaches to the completion of a peace agreement, to which we are really very close to the advance of the division process in which there is a positive dynamics, and the discovery of communications are constructive at the real achievement of a strong world,” said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Paruir Ovannisyan in an interview with Armenpres.

Answering the question whether he considers the signing of a peace treaty in 2025, Ovannyan said: “Naturally, we consider it possible, and that is why we continue our efforts.”

According to him, Armenia intends to “preserve this process” in order to “achieve peace in this region, which has been suffering from conflicts for many years”.

“We do not regret efforts in this direction, we work with all partners to support this process, and, of course, we must believe that we will achieve results,” he added.
