The road through the “Upper Lars” to the Georgian-Russian border is closed for trucks, the Department of Highways of the Ministry of Regional Development of Georgia.
The reason for the closure of the road is abundant snowfall and ice.
Note that the Military Road is the only land route connecting Armenia with Russia.
