Armenian President refused to say that Karabakh will never be part of Azerbaijan

Armenian President Vaagn Khachaturian commented on the opposition’s demand for the need to say that “Karabakh cannot be part of Azerbaijan.” In an interview with public television, Armenia, dedicated to the results of 100 days of being the president of the country, Khachaturian said that in the event of such a statement, the country would lose the right to maneuver.

“We must be realistic. If you declare this, then lose the right to maneuver. We must be able to distinguish politics and diplomacy from populism and public statements. We do not do this and mix all this,” he said.

According to him, it is not necessary to deprive such the possibility of officials who take part in the negotiation process.

“The Prime Minister had the courage to talk about this publicly. There are also people who find themselves in similar situations among the opposition. The behavior of its representatives raises questions. If our soul hurts behind the karabakh, this should be manifested in that everyone does his own business, ”said the President of Armenia.
