Aydin Zakir was arrested by the state security service. During the investigation, it was found that he agreed to secret cooperation with representatives of the special services of Armenia, by completing tasks transmitted through persons located in the territory of the third state, transferred the received information about the specific cases of the acquisition of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, organized the spread of false information In the form of in advance and purposefully prepared special texts aimed at creating a conflict on ethnic grounds in the country, thereby providing assistance to the Armenian intelligence services. Zakiev was held accountable under article 274 (treason) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
