The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said that over the past day, Armenian armed groups have fired on the position of the Azerbaijani army 12 times.
As noted by Haqqin.az in the press service of the department, 3 of them occurred as a result of shelling from the standpoint located near the settlements of the Narimanla and Zyarkend of the Basarkechara district on the Azerbaijani State Border of the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the directions of the Kelbadzharsky and Lachinsky districts.
The remaining 9 incidents are associated with periodic shelters of illegal Armenian armed groups on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, from sniper rifles and different -caliber rifle weapons of the positions of the Azerbaijani army, deployed in the directions of the Agdam, Khojavender and Khojalinsky districts.
There are no losses among the personnel and equipment of the Azerbaijani army. The Ministry of Defense said that in all cases adequate response measures were taken against the enemy.
