A group of protesters headed from Hankendi to the airport, where the base of Russian peacekeepers is located, one of the participants in the action Tigran Petrosyan said.
According to him, the protesters previously negotiated with Russian peacekeepers about the situation on the Lachin road, but negotiations were unsuccessful.
Representatives of the peacekeeping contingent announced their readiness to meet with the participants in the protest, the Armenian media reported.
Armenian telegram channels said that General Volkov agreed to a meeting with the protesters. However, Petrosyan denied this information. According to him, the deputy Volkov came to the protesters, who had previously negotiated with the Armenian side, but they did not want to talk to him this time and demanded Volkov. The colonel, in turn, said that Volkova could not find.
