The nephew of the ex-president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan – Narek Sargsyan, reports Sputnik Armenia, with reference to the adviser to the Prosecutor General Mount Avetisyan.
According to the report, Armenian Court of Appears on April 12, satisfied the complaint of the Prosecutor General’s Office and canceled the decision of the Court of Appeal on the application of the collateral as a preventive measure against Sargsyan.
Narek Sargsyan was wanted as part of a criminal case on the storage of weapons, drugs and fraud, he is also accused of the “abduction of man”. Sargsyan acknowledged the guilt upon him to be charged with the illegal storage of weapons, fraud and the abduction of man. In December 2019, he was taken to Yerevan. In relation to Sargsyan, the arrest was elected as a preventive measure, however, on November 13, 2020, the court issued it on bail at 50 thousand dollars.
