As Result Of Shelling Of Market In Ukrainian Kherson, 7 People Were Killed

As a result of the shelling of the market in the center of Kherson in Ukraine, seven people were killed, the regional prosecutor’s office reports.

“According to the investigation, on October 1, 2024, at about 9:00, the troops of the Russian Federation struck, probably from the receiver in the center of Kherson. The shelling occurred next to the local market and a public transport stop,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement in the prosecutor’s office Telegram.

The message notes that it is currently known that as a result of the shelling, seven civilians were killed, including three women and four men.

The regional prosecutor’s office also reports the wound of three.

Meanwhile, the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, specified that four wounded were hospitalized as a result of shelling the market.

“these are women 68, 65 and 33 years old and a 65 -year -old man. All have explosive injuries and fragmentation wounds. At the time of the enemy attack, they were on the street,” he wrote in telegram.
