ASEAN countries will first hold joint naval exercises

The heads of the Ministry of Defense of the countries of the Association of Southeast Asia (ASEAN) have agreed to conduct joint naval exercises in the area of ​​the Indonesian islands of Kepulauan-riau, the Antara agency said.

The first joint exercises of the ASEAN participants will be held in September.

“In the near future we will conduct joint exercises in the North Sea of ​​Natun,” said the commander of the aircraft of Indonesia, Yudo Margono.
