President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kisida discussed the prospects for the development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation, Turkmenistan reports today.
During a telephone conversation, Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan very highly assesses the level of established interstate relations with Japan and attaches the person to their further development in all priority areas.
At the same time, interest was confirmed not only in the close interaction of Turkmenistan and Japan on a bilateral basis, but also to partnerships within the framework of authoritative international organizations, primarily the UN.
Japanese Prime Minister also stated a high level of established interstate relations and emphasized the need to build traditional ties and expand cooperation between the two countries on the platform of international organizations.
It is noted that an important place in the Turkmen-Japanese dialogue is given to activate trade and economic contacts.
At the end of the telephone conversation, Berdimuhamedov and Kisid wished each other good health, well -being and great success in responsible state activities.
