The President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev held a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Sholts on Thursday, the press service of the Kazakh leader reports.
The President of Kazakhstan, who arrived on an official visit to Germany, held negotiations with the federal chancellor in the format of tet-a-tet.
During negotiations, the parties noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations and confirmed the mutual desire for a further comprehensive strengthening of Kazakh-German relations.
The leaders of the two countries determined the main directions of cooperation, including agreed to intensify interaction in trade, economic, investment, transport, logistics, “green energy” and other areas.
The President and Chancellor exchanged views on relevant regional and international issues, and also discussed the agenda of the upcoming higher level in the Central Asia -Germany format.
