On the fields of the IX Congress of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev discussed with the President of the European Commission on Justice (CEPEJ) Francesco Depapoacale the key aspects of the reform of the judicial system.
According to the press service of the Kazakh leader, the president noted the important role of the organization in improving the standards of justice in the international arena.
According to him, Kazakhstan attaches particular importance to the introduction of advanced experience of law enforcement mechanisms into the national judicial system.
Kazakhstan firmly embarked on the path of building a legal and democratic state. In this context, the reform of the judicial system and ensuring the rule of law play an extremely important role, ”Tokaev said.

Tokaev also adopted the President of the International Association for Judicial Administration of Luis Palm.
During the conversation, the current issues of judicial reform in Kazakhstan were discussed. The head of the Kazakh state emphasized that the creation of a new system of judicial administration in the country made it possible to strengthen the independence of Kazakhstani courts.
Interlocutors stated the importance of close cooperation between the judicial authorities, the exchange of experience in the fields of modernization of the justice system and digitalizing legal proceedings.
