The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodzhiddin Mukhriddin visited the Republic of Kazakhstan on an official visit. This was reported by the Tajik media.
A negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu were held as part of the visit.
The negotiations of ministers were held both in bilateral and expanded format. The heads of foreign policy departments discussed key issues regarding the development of Tajik-Kazakhstan relations in various fields, such as politics, trade and economic relations, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The discussions were held taking into account the agreements reached at the highest level in August 2024, which confirmed the strategic importance of bilateral relations.
In August last year, the President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev arrived on a state visit to Dushanbe.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that it attaches important to regular meetings at the highest level, which serve as a strong basis for strengthening the Kazakh-Tajik multifaceted partnership.
During the meeting, an allied relationship was signed, and the issues of trade, economic, transit, energy, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were also considered issues.
