Russian law enforcement agencies detained the citizens of France and Germany for being at the Baikonur cosmodrome without appropriate permission. This was reported by TASS with reference to the prosecutor’s office of the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan.
“Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the Baikonur Complex Citizen, France citizen Guyeno Axel Oliva Robert and German citizen Lorenz Juliaan Karl Jurgen, who were on the territory of the Baikonur cosmodrome,” the prosecutor’s office said.
The detention occurred on October 29. During the audit, it turned out that citizens of Germany and France planned to inspect the Energia missile at the Baikonur Cosmodrome site.
It is reported on the preparation of protocols on administrative offenses, as well as the imposition of recovery in the form of administrative arrest for a day. After that, the violators were expelled from the territory of Baikonur.
Earlier, the interlocutor of the agency announced the detention on Baikonur the Frenchman and the German, while trying to photograph the launch vehicle.
