At Clashes Of Fans Of Lazio And Roma, 13 Police Officers Suffered

at least 13 police officers were injured when they tried to prevent clashes between the fans before the match of the Lazio and Roma football clubs in Rome. Italian media reports about this.

Lazio and Roma, on Sunday, tied with a score of 1: 1 at the meeting of the 32nd round of the Italian championship. The Roman Derby match was held at the Olympico stadium.

As reported, about 500 fans of Roma tried to advance towards the zone intended for the passage of Tifozi Lazio. Later, Lazio fans tried to break through the buffer zone to the fans of Roma, but the police blocked their way.

The police began to throw bottles, firechers and chairs from nearby cafes.

As noted, law enforcement officers managed to prevent direct contact between aggressively tuned fans of two clubs.

In order to restrain aggressively tuned fans, law enforcement officers were forced to use waterlets and tear gas.
