Azerbaijani delegation took part in the annual general meeting of the International Association of Pension and Social Funds in Moscow, this Haqqın.az reported in the press service of Mintruda.
The meeting discussed the activities of the Association for the past period, the achievements of the Pension and Social Funds of Member States, the issues of forming a flexible assessment index, which will determine the parameters of social development on the basis of a single methodology. The issue of preparations for the 30-year anniversary of the creation of the Association, heard the presentations of the member countries were heard.
At the event, Chairman of the Board of the State Fund of Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Himalayas Mamisov informed about the important achievements achieved in recent years towards strengthening the system of social security and promoting social benefits in Azerbaijan. He noted wide reforms in the field of social security, electronic services provided to the population, the experience of introducing proactive services for the appointment of social benefits. He brought to the attention of the measures to improve the activities of the Foundation on the optimal basis, the model of service of the population.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Andrei Pudov and Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Russia Andrei Kigim stated that with interest they are followed by electronization and a proactive organization of social services in Azerbaijan. It was noted that our country did a big way in this area.
During the meeting, the head of the State Fund of Social Protection responded to the questions of the experience of providing proactive services that interests the Russian side. Representatives of the Member States of the Association with interest met the reforms implemented in Azerbaijan in the field of strengthening the social protection of the population. In particular, the achievements achieved in recent years in our country are highly assessed in the field of infrastructure of proactive services to the population in the social sphere. They talked about the prospects for applying the successful experience of Azerbaijan in this area in their countries.
At the meeting also raised organizational issues of the international conference, which is planned to hold at the end of this year in Baku on the topic “Social reforms in the CIS: trends, potential, solutions.” There were presentations of other member states, an exchange of experience took place.
