At Least 20 People Died As Result Of Drone Attack In Sudan

As a result of an attack using a drone in the city of El Fashir, the administrative center of the North Darfur province in the west of Sudan, at least 20 people were killed.

According to El Fashir resistance committees, operational support forces (RSF), which have been in an armed confrontation with the army for 20 months, launched a drone with explosives in the city center last night. As a result of the attack, at least 20 people were killed, dozens were seriously injured.

Meanwhile, the International Migration Organization (MOM) at the UN reports that due to the ongoing battles between the army and RSF in the eastern and southern regions of El Fashira, 70 families were forced to leave their homes.

In addition, MOM said that about 1000 families left the city of Cababia in North Darfur due to a airstrikes applied in this area.
