The American company Pfizer and its German partner Biontech reached an agreement with the International Olympic Committee on providing its drug for vaccination from the coronavirus athletes at the Tokyo Olympiad. This is stated in the press release of the German company, reports TASS.

“Pfizer and Biontech today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding from the IOC on providing its drugs from COVID-19 to vaccinate athletes and delegations involved in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, the beginning of which is scheduled for July 23, 2021,” The statement says.
