Austria: activists captured estate of former First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia

About 30 Austrian activists seized the estate on Lake Aters at the resort of Zalzkammerg, which belongs to the former first deputy prime minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov, writes Kurier.

According to the media, the ex-official lived in the estate back in March, but in recent weeks it has been empty.

The Valdville Manor is located in the municipality of St. Gilgen. Pictures of the facade of the estate appeared in the press, which “decorated” stretch marks with slogans: “solidarity with all refugees”, “sabotage of war everywhere”, “patriarchy is dead”. A banner was posted in the garden near the estate with a demand to open free access to the lake. In recent years, almost all approaches to Atters have been blocked by private possessions.

In social networks, activists who captured the estate condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine and urge to give the captured real estate to refugees and homeless.
