Austria froze assets of Russian oligarchs

Austria froze the assets of Russian oligarchs in the amount of 254 million euros, writes Wiener Zeitung.

It is reported that the responsible operational group, headed by the State Security and Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, froze the money in total in 97 accounts.

Other suspicious cases are now being investigated, however, the discovery of assets that fall under sanctions is significantly difficult to create international companies, trust companies and dummies.
