June 2, 2022, Baku – the National Air carrier of Azerbaijan from June 15 resumes air traffic with the cities of Russia. This was reported in the press service of Azerbaijani Airlines CJSC.
Starting from this date, Azal and Buta Airways airline in stages renew the flight program from the Heydar Aliyev International Airport to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Mineral Waters and Kazan.
So, Azerbaijani Airlines Airlines will begin to operate on daily airports in Moscow airports Domodedovo and Vnukovo from June 15. Flights of the air carrier from Baku to St. Petersburg will be executed twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays.
The low -budget airline Buta Airways also starts flying to Astrakhan (on Thursdays and Sundays), mineral waters (Tuesdays and Sundays) and Kazan (on Wednesdays and Saturdays).

tickets for all Azal and Buta Airways flights to the cities of Russia are already on sale in accredited air carrier agencies. Sale of tickets on the official sites of airlines www.azal.az and www.butaairways.az will open in stages.
Passengers corresponding to the designated transportation conditions and who are allowed to fly in the conditions of existing epidemiological restrictions will be accepted for transportation on these flights.
