The prospects for cooperation in civil aviation were discussed on October 18 at a meeting of AZAL President Jahangira Askurov with a senior vice president of the Italian company Leonardo Marco Buratti.
The parties at the meeting raised the issues of cooperation in the field of maintenance and repair of aircraft, as well as the introduction of promising and modern innovative technologies in the field of air navigation.
As a result of negotiations, projects for the development of infrastructure of the Azerbaijan aeronavigation system were agreed.
Also, during the event, opinions were conducted regarding the development of companies in various directions in civil aviation Azerbaijan, and a wide potential for fruitful cooperation with the Italian aviation industry was also noted.
